Groups shall need to self-cater during the camp. Any food deliveries can take place from 4:00pm on the Friday. Please ensure that a member of your group is onsite to meet the drivers and that group names are included on the booking details for these.
Camping
To make room for all the extra activities and to minimise the amount of setting up please note that groups within the same district will be camped together. Camping areas will be allocated by the events team. This is so that units can share recourses and build bonds. Campsite allocations will be arranged and communicated closer to the event.

terms and conditions
Ferny Crofts have implemented a few terms and conditions for the event:
-
Bookings must only be made by one main group leader for the whole group and not by individual parents/participants.
-
Participants must have attendance booked in advance and cannot just turn up on the day, due to the programme layout and staffing having to be confirmed before the event starts.
-
This event is open to all Explorer Groups within Hampshire Scouts.
-
Bookings are to be made through our online portal, with full payment being due 2 weeks after the initial booking has been made. If full payment has not been received by this point, your booking will be cancelled and spaces reallocated.
-
Refunds cannot be issued once a booking has been confirmed.
-
Specific event details shall be sent to the Lead Contact on the booking a few weeks before the event takes place.
-
All participants and leader of the event must respect and adhere to the instructions and directions given by the event staff including volunteers.
-
Groups must make appropriate arrangements to travel. There is limited parking at Ferny Crofts, so we encourage all groups to car share as much as possible.
event Waiver
-
Groups understand that both photographic and video footage will be taken during the evening and shall be used by Ferny Crofts and Hampshire Scouts on social media, websites and future advertising materials such as leaflets and posters.
-
Some of the activities taking place during this camp will require their own specific waivers. These will be sent out prior to the event and must be fully completed and bought along with each Explorer. Any Explorer that does not bring along a completed form for any specific activity WILL NOT be able to partake in the activity.
-
Due to the high number of vehicles expected to arrive to site, please be advised that the car park will be very busy and queues will be highly likely whilst our volunteers/staff get vehicles parked. We recommend car sharing as much as possible to help reduce the volume of cars on site.
