Ferny Crofts Volunteers

Volunteers at Ferny Crofts

Ferny Crofts are looking for a team of volunteers who will work alongside our permanent staff members throughout the site, across all aspects of the day to day running of the centre. This will range from site development, activity sessions to the site's housekeeping.

Find out below about opportunities to work or volunteer with us.

Event volunteer team

Thanks to our volunteers tireless efforts, we are able to provide a safe and fun environment for everyone who participates in our events.

Ferny Crofts run several events throughout the year including; Fright Night, Mud Run and Squirrels Fun Day. These events vary in participant capacity but some of them can reach up to 600 young people attending.

In order to ensure that these events are a huge success we rely on the help of volunteers to assist our staff throughout the day. The requirements vary depending on each event but in general it will be helping guide traffic in the car park, running activities, including normal onsite activities such as Archery (if the correct permits are held) and marshalling the event in general.

If you have enjoyed volunteering with us previously, or wish to come along to volunteer for the first time, please click on the links below to sign up for our Squirrels Fun Day on Saturday September 23rd and our Fright Night event on Saturday 14th October. You can find more information on both events on our website.
